Third Country Transfer

On July 10, 2023, the European Commission adopted its adequacy decision for the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Framework. As Google servers are distributed worldwide and transfer to third countries (e.g., Singapore) cannot be completely ruled out, we have also concluded the EU standard contractual clauses with the provider.

Storage Duration

The data sent by us and linked to cookies are automatically deleted after 2 years. The maximum lifespan of Google Analytics cookies is 2 years. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached occurs automatically once a month.

Legal Basis

The legal basis for this data processing is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 sentence 1 TTDSG.

Revocation

  • In accordance with Article 16 GDPR, to immediately request the rectification of inaccurate personal data stored by us or to have incomplete personal data completed.
  • In accordance with Article 17 GDPR, to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in combination with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we fall back on 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a individual page on our website is transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the appearance of a key or padlock icon on the status bar of your browser.

We also take appropriate technical and organisational security precautions to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security precautions are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
